Heaven

Oh, yeah, so that's why people live in Illinois! The weather here is perfect. Although the temperatures shot up to the 80's this weekend, the spring is gradually warming with highs in the 60's and 70's this week. Perfection! Everything is turning green, flowers are blooming, and birds are returning! It is truly a wonderful place to live right now. To take advantage of the weather, JD and I tilled our yard and garden, sowing grass seed this weekend. We also spent the morning at the nearby lake, Lake Evergreen, where we checked out some mountain bike trails, eyed some great camping spots, and enjoyed being near some water. Almost every other moment of our time has been spent lounging on our screened-in porch feeling lazy. And of course, Gizmo joins us!
