Spring has Sprung

The leaves have not yet sprouted, but early flowers are showing themselves throughout town, and even better, throughout our yard. Our magnolia tree is blooming out front, even though we still see snow flurries every so often.

But those aren't the only flowers around. Here's a sampling of other beauties -- all within view of our back window!

While nature is busy outside, JD is busy inside, growing vegetables from seed so that they will be ready to plant outside in the garden on May 1. He's got pumpkins, watermelon, tomatoes, cilantro, basil, bannana and bell peppers, onions, and catnip sprouting.
We can't wait for the weather to warm further so that we can get out there in the dirt!
